Welcome to my page! I'm about 20 months, skinny little thing but as hard as nails. My brother may be bigger than me, but i am not afraid to put the boot in. I am eager to run around now but so clumsy that i am forever hitting my head, falling or dropping things on my toes. Already i have had one big toenail go black after i dropped a wooden frog on it, i have bit through my lips on various occasions, bit through both sides of my tongue, had concussion, bashed my cheek on Joe's bed and various bruised legs, eyes and temples. When i hit my head on the door frame and had concussion the CT scan showed up that i have a mild form of crainiosynatosis Thus ensued a week of stress and upset for my mum and dad as we visited neurosurgeons in Singapore to assess the degree of my condition. In October when i was seen the consensus was that for now, everything is ok. I have a big brain! and that seems to be developing normally, so for now i just need to go and regularly see the pediatrician to have my head measured and i go back to see the surgeon in six months time. Fingers crossed i won't be needing a skull operation. My mum and dad used to joke i had a big professor forehead and didn't think anything of it. There is no evidence to link it to my SID but it does make you wonder. About a month ago i started sleeping through the night from 8pm till 6am. Before that i was wanting to get up around 5am with at least a couple of wake up calls during the early hours to my mum. She got the hump again with the 5am wake up and i got put through controlled crying yet again. I'll let her get comfortable for a couple of weeks before i throw another spanner in the works. I now like sitting on my mum's knee and reading books. Its quite nice for my mum as i spent all my time as a baby not liking being touched. Now i am clingy and get extremely jealous if Joe or anyone else wants to be with my mum. I am better at eating. I will eat most things given to me on a spoon as long as they are chopped up small enough. I will now pick up raisins and rice crackers. I have a whole repertoire of 4 things that i will now eat by myself! I still back away or scream or pick out tentatively anything else that is not on my list of 4 touchable things to eat! All other non-food stuffs though are perfectly acceptable. Paper is quite nice, along with bath water and foam coasters and jigsaws, which by the way i have no interest in unless i can chew them. The other thing i can not stand is sand. We went to Sentosa beach when Nana was here and i never moved from the rug once. |

| I had my first haircut, it was a huge ordeal for my mum. I screamed and fought poor Jonathon (who was under false pretences that this would be an easy job because Joey is the model kid when it comes to a haircut) My mum was quite impressed that Jonathon didn't cut my ears off with the scissors such was the ferocity of my fighting. The screaming and crying was enough to put shivers up the rest of the clients in there that day. I am surprised that they did not ban us from going again. Suffice to say the resulting haircut was a bit dodgy to say the least, but the best you could expect under the circumstances. | |||

| Me One of my favourite pass times is knocking things down. We have some stacking boxes that i love to build up and then knock them down shouting ABASH! i also like doing this to my dad. Joe and Dad built the tallest lego building i have ever seen one weekend and then as soon as the top was on i knocked it down and ran away laughing! My other favourite pass time if my mum allows it is to watch tv. I would be a telly addict if my mum didn't restrict how much i watch. I know how to use the remote to turn it on, but if i can't find it that then i also know where the switch is. I jump up on the sofa and become glued to the box. My favourite program is High Five and i also like animal planet. |
