Welcome to my page!

I am now 17 months old, have grown a mullet of a hair style which my mum has chopped off saying you can't have hair like that for your christening and I am learning bad habits from my dad which gets him in trouble with my mum.

In the last 5 months I have grown 5 cm taller and now weight 12 Kg. Depending on how I am standing will determine the size of my fat tummy. I have most of my teeth and I am learning to brush them. Personally I prefer to just suck all the banana strawberry toothpaste off the brush but my mum insists on ramming the brush in all directions around my mouth while I put up a bit of a fight. There is no stopping my mum, no matter how hard I resist at having my face washed she still somehow manages to get a flannel over my face. It is easier with my dad, he tends to give up quicker.

I can now walk really well and I love to climb our stairs. I now also have to wear shoes which took a bit of getting used too. My mum takes me to gymboree once a week where I am allowed on everything, unlike at home! I love throwing balls about and I'm not bad at kicking. Playing down my football skills because don't want to cause family rows as to which football team I will be playing for. I have a sponge bat and ball but I prefer to just beat things up with it like my cuddly mate Rory the tigerman. Its one of the things my dad taught me. I laughed so much the other day when I was bashing him that I fell over. I can now do jigsaws and these are one of my favourite things at the moment. I still like books too.

I have a swimming lesson once a week with my friend Isabella. I can now hold my breath under water for 5 seconds. I can also kick my legs and use a float. I love splashing and squirty toys and paddling pools. As you can guess I love bath time too.

I am still eating everything. I love curry and chilli. I could also quite easily be a hippy and live on tofu, lentils, soya products and vegetables. I still eat a mountain of fruit a day and raspberries are still my favourite. In the past 2 weeks I have grown out of my dairy allergy and so I have been trying small bits of cheese and porridge made with cows milk. My mum takes me out quite a bit for lunch, we love going to spaggedies in Paragon shopping mall because they give me crayons and paper and my mum likes their chocolate cake. I am also a superstar down at the local supermarket with the checkout girls. I usually stop the queues while they all call out to me or come over and ask me how I am doing.

I have been on loads of day trips out in the last few months because we had loads of visitors. You can read about those on the news page.

My Mates.
Most of my mates have left me! Since the beginning of the year, their mums and dads have packed them all back to England. Charlie, Billy and Thomas have all gone. Anique is about to leave in a couple of weeks as my mum is writing this. So that only leaves Isabella and Josh. Isabella has a new sister called Emilia, who is always asleep when i go round for swimming. I usually take a peek at her when I am getting dressed. Isabella and I play at gymboree too. I go round to Josh's house a bit, but he has been away in England for 6 weeks so I can't wait for him to get back. I think I will have to get out more and find some new playgroups and some new mates! We don't do our baby get together anymore seen as its easy enough to organise a day out between the three of us.

bye bye Charlie

I'll give you a call Billy

Josh is still here though!

bye to Thomas too

Picnic in the Singapore Botanical Gardens
Before a few mates left my mum organised a picnic in the Singapore Botanical gardens. We only live about 10 minutes away and its a great place to run around. Its got lakes with swans, lots of flowers, waterfalls and big trees to look at. I had just got new shoes and wasn't used to wearing shoes and I found the long grass a bit hard and got stuck on my bum a few times.

mmm, what shall I munch next?

Lets chase Josh!

help I'm stuck.

what mischief can I do with this stick?

Ger-roff its my stick!

Emmet came to visit
In April my friend from Bangkok, Emmet came to stay with his mum and dad, Carole and Phil. Its the first time another kid has ever stayed at our house. It was really fun to have someone to play with in the playpen and around the house. I was a bit shy at first but I shared my toys.
