Welcome to my page!

Well I am now 3 and depending on my mood I will act either very grown up or will pretend to be a baby just like Seany. I am a bit of a bossy boots and like to order everyone around. I am a bit of a conversationalist as well. Last week I decided that I wasn't going to call mum mummy anymore. From now on its mum. I don't think she likes it too much.

I now stay at school until 1.30pm. This extra hour is very good because there are only about 4 of us who stay and we get to do lots of things that we can't do in a big group. We have made big posters of jellyfish, make up games with pirate ships and we also get to play card games and talk a lot to our two teachers who stay with us.
Last month we were learning all about China. As it was Chinese New Year we had a lion dance puppet. For two weeks I kept on and on at my mum to take me to see a lion dance. Eventually we found one going on in a shop and I don't know whether we were supposed to go inside, because the shop was empty and everyone was looking in through the glass, but we did and we watched the lion dance up close. It was so noisy! When they had finished, the lion gave me lots of chocolate money - so it was lucky for me! At home we pretended to be a lion dance by putting my duvet over my head and Seany banged on my drums. Now every night after dad has put me to bed, I get under my duvet and slide out as quietly as I can from my bedroom along the floor and all the way to my dad's bedroom and then I jump up and shout lion dance. I think he thought it was funny the first few times, but now its wearing thin two months later. I have also given up my afternoon nap now. Poor mum, it was the time when she caught up on her sleep. Now she just buys more than usual under eye cream.

My mum did get her blender out and I refused to drink the fruit shakes, even though they tasted exactly the same as the moo cow yoghurt drinks from the shop. I have been a bit better at trying new things though. I like my peanut butter version of chicken satay and I like pate on toast. I still would be a sweet monster if my mum allowed it. I love mango and kiwis at the moment and apples and I hate raisins! Can you imagine that after they used to be my favourite food.

My favourite two things on the TV are the wiggles and Steve Irwin, the Crocodile hunter. How exited was I when my mum found a dvd which is the wiggles at Australia zoo with Steve Irwin. I call it the hunterman wiggles and I want to watch it every day! I often hear my mum and dad singing the songs all day long and I know some of the words too. I love to pretend to be a rock star. I am always pretending to strum a guitar, especially when my dad puts on his music or we are listening to the radio in the car on the way to school.

My Mates.
Josh had his 3rd birthday party at Sporty Joe's Gym which was such a cool place. I was off before my mum and dad could blink. There was so much stuff to climb on. We had a birthday tea outside afterwards. We also had a Christmas party at school. I was dressed up very smartly for this and ten minutes into the party I whipped off my clothes (I have no shame) and got the spiderman costume out of the dressing up box and wore that for the duration. We decorated biscuits, had face painting (the lady who had volunteered was doing flowers and faces quite confidently. " I want a monkey" said Joe, should have seen her face drop, though she did a pretty good job I thought) ) sang and performed songs and father Christmas came and gave us all a present.

Me
It was my birthday on the first of January. No one was hungover after our trip to the night safari, just tired. I got more musical instruments to drive my mum and dad to distraction. Nana made a cake and I had 3 fireman candles. I love it when everyone sings happy birthday and you get to blow out the candles. I did it twice. I also had a cake to take to school because I did not have a party. Everyone at school sang happy birthday and I got to blow candles out again!

isn't it noisy enough in this house?
Just before Christmas, Josh, Sean and I went to see Bob the Builder. He and Wendy were singing about reusing and recycling. Non of the machines were there though, which was a bit of a disappointment!
