Welcome to my page!

I am now five! Another New Year's day birthday where my mum and dad looked weary! It wasn't too bad for them as I got Ben10's watch that turns him into his ten aliens so I spent most of the day playing with that pretending to be Fourarms or Stink fly. Seany didn't understand why I had lots of presents and he didn't have any and I wouldn't let him help me open them either. I'm sure he'll get his own back when its his birthday. I had a homemade birthday cake just for our family on my proper birthday and then I had my big party 2 weeks later when everyone came back from their holidays. My mum will throw on those photos next time. I have taught Seany the proper words for happy birthday so he sings "Happy Birthday to you, stick your head down the loo" very loudly.

I am now in reception at school. We start quite early at 7.55am and finish at 1.50pm. I now catch the bus to and from school. The bus comes at 7.20am. My mum even likes school holidays now because it means we don't have to be up at the crack of dawn. I don't seem to care that I only have half an hour to get ready. At the weekend it can take me this amount of time just to eat my breakfast so you can imagine the barking of instructions I got for the first term just to get me ready on time. I'm not too bad now, but I'm only allowed weetabix or porridge for breakfast as these are the quickest to shovel down with banana or stewed fruit. The rubbish cereal is reserved for the weekend when I can eat whatever I like. My sugary, completely revolting cereal of choice is fruit loops with no milk!

I still enjoy school though I miss the bikes we could ride on all the time when we were in nursery. We have class mascots - Billy and Betty the monkeys, and we take it in turns to bring them home to stay with us. We have started to learn to read and write and bring home reading books 5 times a week. My mum helps out with cooking lessons, rainbow room - which is a room full of blocks and other things where we have to build structures or play games and she also comes to do numeracy and literacy games sometimes which we do once a week. I love it when its my mums turn to come into school and I'm still not embarrassed to give her a big kiss in front of everyone, unlike some of the boys in my class.

I am still into transformers in a big way. I got Optimus Prime for Christmas. Father Christmas very nearly didn't come as I was a bit of a horror in the run up. I definitely didn't get as many presents as I thought I was getting and mum said father Christmas sent some back. I like anything that can be taken apart and built into something. I am fantastic at building things with stickle bricks and the singapore equivalent called starbursts. I got some little lego for my birthday, but still find that a bit difficult but give me another six months and I'll be building a city!

I have started to realised that money is useful to have. I have a piggy bank and my mum and dad make me save any money I get in that. Sometimes my mum lets me keep the dollar from the supermarket trolley if I have been helpful with the shopping. I like money because you can buy toys with it (everything else like food just miraculously appears like magic). I got some money for my birthday, I saved some of it but was allowed to spend the rest on anything I liked. I spent the whole of saturday afternoon with my dad going round toys r us. I spent it all on new transformers! Seany does not understand about money. At Chinese New Year, Dad gave us a red packet each which four dollars in it and Sean wasn't impressed. He asked if he could swap it for chocolate money!

Also once or twice a month we go to this great indoor climbing frame place with my mates Daniel and Sophie, or Gavin with Josh and Bianca.

Me
I still like dressing up, don't need an excuse but Sean and I did enjoy going trick and treating with dad this year round the condo. One apartment had smoke and spooky music and you had to delve into a bucket of slime and spaghetti if you wanted any sweets. Seany refused to do it and everyone thought he was a girl in his spider costume as well!

Living in a hot country Seany and I don't really know what sweaters etc are. This Christmas we were introduced to bath robes and dressing gowns to wear before bedtime!
