Welcome to my page!

Well its been quite a month or so for my mum since I came back from England. She thought that maybe I had been abducted by aliens whilst on the plane and they put the wrong boy back. I have to admit I have been a huge pain in the bum and naughty for my poor mum, but that's her punishment for not coming to England with us and putting her feet up for a week. How did I make her life a misery for 6 weeks? Well for starters I decided I would not be good at bedtimes. I threw out every toy and book in my room over the gate and onto the landing every night until my mum removed them all and made my room look like a prison cell. As there was nothing to throw, I then started on chucking out the pillows and duvet. Next came pulling the posters off the wall and putting blue tack every where. There was also the screaming and crying for hours as soon as I had been put to bed. I resorted to trying to get sympathy from my dad as I knew mum would not crack and in my best heartfelt voice would cry daddy down the stairs with sniffles and great play acting of choking, but after a couple of nights that did not work either because I think my Gestapo mum banned my dad from coming to me as she knew I was faking. Then there was the waking up in the middle of the night for at least 2 hours and tormenting my mum when she came to see if I was OK. That got boring though after a while, especially when all my toys got taken away.

I also decided that I would be a real pain at mealtimes and refuse to eat all the things I used to like. I decided I would also not co-operate in swimming lessons and refuse to go near my swimming teacher and scream my head off if my mum let go of me, I even tried refusing baths! Tantrums - they came thick and fast too!

Then over Chinese New Year I got really sick........ my poor mum looked after me for 48 hours with no sleep and then she got sick too, then dad got ill again (though he has been coughing ever since England when we got really cold and picked up bad coughs) and I thought maybe it was time to be good again. My mum is happy once more!

I have been pleasing my mum and dad by trying to talk a little. I do have a few words now and like to copy people. I can say please, well it sounds like pease, two, hi and bye, lots of animal noises, more and no which is my all time favourite after daddy.

My Mates.
I have hardly seen my mates since the last update. We have either been ill or away, or had lots of relatives visiting to keep us busy. I have only seen Josh a couple of times since New year but we were both grumpy so we did not play much. I had a lovely afternoon at Ben and Emma's house the other week. We went to visit William their new baby brother and we played in their garden all afternoon. I loved their swing and we also had pizza in the garden for tea. Their mum Penny made great pink fluff for dessert and I ate everybody's! Last week I met Grace for the first time. She lives in Hong Kong and she is my new girlfriend. We had dinner along the river at Indochine and then played on the steps and looked at the sculptures along the river. Grace is 4 and she let me play with her Pelican Scoop which she got at the bird park and we had lots of fun together. I wish she lived here in Singapore.

Kindermuisk end of term.
We came to the end of our term this week, just before Chinese New Year. Our group has been together for a while but this term half of the class were leaving to go off to nursery, playgroup or other music and drama activities. We have had a lot of fun with our teacher Miss Janice. I have just signed up for another half term until my mum sorts out a playgroup for me to go to. My best friends Kayla and Ryan are still here too for a bit longer which makes it more fun and we always have lunch together afterwards in the bakery in the basement. Our favourite food there is mini donuts with sprinkles on the top. The three of us love chasing each other too.

Me
Since the last update, I have been to England, had my second birthday, been trying new things like painting, got a brilliant paddling pool for the garden from Ginny and Josh for my birthday and been doing all the usual stuff around the house. My mum has been less energetic so we have made shorter walks than normal and stop regularly in starbucks for coffee and muffins. I am now big enough to sit on proper chairs and drink out of proper cups! I also went to the butterfly and insect park/museum on Sentosa with my mum and dad one Sunday. I love butterflies and we also saw turtles.
